I am a writer, editor, wife and mother–almost never in that order, but always all at once. As owner and operator of The Next Chapter, it has been my great privilege to help fledgling and veteran writers alike bring their stories into the world. Specializing in Developmental Editing, my collaborative approach often leads to partnerships that extend well-beyond the initial project. Once dubbed “The Book Doula” by a client, the moniker could not be more apt, as I often coach writers through the worst pains and struggles of the creative process before celebrating their successes as joyfully as they do.
My company is a professional, contemporary, full-service writing and editing service, with services ranging from straight line-editing and deeper developmental editing to research, fact-checking and marketing strategies for both traditionally and self-published manuscripts.
